A 28-year-old man named Hamed Mohamodie, residing on Ashley Road in Hale, has been accused of sexually assaulting a child. The case was brought before Manchester and Salford Magistrates’ Court on January 3, where Mohamodie appeared.
Following the initial notification of an alleged incident at a property in Hale, Greater Manchester, the police took action. Mohamodie was detained pending a court appearance scheduled for February 6 at Minshull Street Crown Court.
The Greater Manchester Police issued a statement confirming the charges against Mohamodie. They specified that the alleged sexual assault of a child under 13 led to his custody remand. The incident, reported on January 1, triggered a police response at the Hale property.
A spokesperson for the police force assured the public that, considering the nature of the offense, there is no perceived broader risk to public safety.
