Good evening, Europe! The inaugural European Song Contest live tour has been unveiled to commemorate 70 years of the popular event. Fans can rejoice knowing that there will be no ‘nul points’ in this tour. The lineup will feature iconic performers from the past seven decades of the competition, alongside 10 fresh acts from the 2026 contest held in May.
Kicking off at London’s 02 Arena on June 15, the tour will travel to 10 European cities including Hamburg, Milan, and Paris, wrapping up in Stockholm, Sweden, on July 2. Surprise guest performers will also grace each tour date. The roster of 2026 artists will be revealed by the European Broadcasting Union the day after this year’s grand final in Vienna, Austria, on May 16. Performers on the tour will showcase their own Eurovision Song Contest entry as well as cover versions from the extensive 70-year catalog.
Although the lineup is yet to be finalized, fans are eager to see legendary acts such as Conchita Wurst, Lordi, Loreen, and UK’s Bucks Fizz. The UK has had a mixed history in the competition, winning five times, with the last victory by Katrina and the Waves in 1997. While recent UK entries like Sam Ryder’s “Space Man” achieved second place in 2022, subsequent performances have not fared as well, with some acts receiving low public votes.
Eurovision Song Contest director Martin Green expressed excitement for the live tour, calling it a unique celebration of the event’s rich history and promising a forward-looking experience. Progress Productions CEO James O’Brien shared the sentiment, emphasizing the tour’s aim to capture the iconic essence of the Eurovision Song Contest through unforgettable performances.
Last year’s Eurovision shows attracted 175 million viewers worldwide. Fans interested in attending can register for tickets at www.eurovision.com/account/register/. Detailed artist line-ups for each tour location will also be available at www.eurovision.com/tour.
