Disgraced Royal Andrew Faces Imminent Eviction

Months after the announcement that Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor would be forced to leave his residence at the Royal Lodge, a royal insider has now confirmed the upcoming eviction date. The disgraced royal had his royal titles revoked by his older brother, King Charles, and surrendered the 75-year lease on the 30-room Windsor mansion in October last year due to his association with convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein.

After much speculation from royal observers about when the former prince would depart the grand yet deteriorating property he has called home for over two decades, it has been disclosed that he will be relocating in a few days. Both Andrew and his ex-wife, Sarah Ferguson, who has resided with him at the Royal Lodge since 2008, must vacate the premises by the end of the month. Reports suggest that Ferguson is eager to explore new opportunities.

According to a source cited in Hello! Magazine, Andrew and Sarah have until January 25 to move out. While Sarah has been supportive of Andrew for years, she is now looking to move forward independently. The source mentioned potential living arrangements for Ferguson, indicating that she may consider staying at Eugenie’s home in Portugal among other options.

Regarding their current situation, the source mentioned that Andrew has distanced himself from media and remains isolated, while Sarah is still dealing with the aftermath of recent events.

Recent sightings of removal lorries at the Windsor estate and preparations at Andrew’s possible new residence on the Sandringham estate have sparked rumors about his upcoming move. It is speculated that Andrew might settle in Marsh Farm on the King’s Norfolk estate, although the property is currently being renovated for his occupancy in the near future.

Technicians were observed setting up Sky Broadband at Marsh Farm in anticipation of Andrew’s arrival, with additional security measures such as fencing and lighting being implemented for privacy. As renovations continue at Marsh Farm, it is anticipated that Andrew will stay in temporary accommodations until he transitions to the Norfolk estate, likely around Easter.

In October 2025, King Charles officially removed Andrew’s HRH style, prince title, and dukedom from the Roll of the Peerage due to his significant errors in judgment. This decision followed the release of a posthumous memoir by Andrew’s accuser, Virginia Giuffre, and the disclosure of documents from Epstein’s estate, revealing Andrew’s continued contact with Epstein despite previous claims of cutting ties. Andrew maintains his innocence amidst the allegations.
