Darts prodigy Luke Littler has expressed confidence in the potential success of Angry Ginge, a contestant on the reality show “I’m A Celebrity Get Me Out Here.” The 18-year-old, who is acquainted with the online personality Morgan Burtwistle, also playfully hinted at the idea of joining a similar adventure in the future.
A devoted Manchester United supporter and popular streamer, Angry Ginge made his arrival at Brisbane airport this week in preparation for the show’s premiere on November 16th. With bookmakers already favoring Burtwistle to be the jungle king, anticipation is high for his performance.
Meanwhile, Littler comfortably advanced to the Grand Slam of Darts’ knockout stages in Wolverhampton, securing a decisive 5-1 victory over Daryl Gurney as he continues his title defense. As he awaits his next opponent in the tournament, he eagerly anticipates the commencement of the reality series in Australia.
In an interview with SportsBoom, Littler expressed his belief in Angry Ginge’s ability to excel in the challenging jungle environment, stating, “I think he’s going to do very well. I’ve known for a very long time. We’ll have to vote him on and see what he has to eat.”
Although Littler could be a strong contender for future seasons of the television program, negotiations may be required to secure his participation due to his status as a rising star in darts. When asked about the possibility of joining the jungle, he responded, “Erm maybe… If they come around for the right price. I might go over for a couple weeks.”
Angry Ginge received a warm reception from fans and reporters upon his arrival in Australia on Monday. Despite expressing fondness for his beloved Manchester United and his mother, the 23-year-old humorously remarked on his camping experience, stating, “I did a Duke of Edinburgh bronze award at school so I am not too bad at camping.”
In a YouTube announcement video prior to his departure for the reality show, Angry Ginge optimistically hoped for Manchester United’s success in his absence, aiming for the team to secure victories in his three missed matches and maintain a strong league position upon his return in early December.
