“Comedian Nathan Fielder’s Explosive New Documentary on Elizabeth Holmes”

Nathan Fielder, the well-known comedian and filmmaker from Vancouver, has unveiled a sneak peek of his upcoming project following the latest season of “The Rehearsal.” This new endeavor is a documentary focusing on Elizabeth Holmes, the founder of Theranos, who gained notoriety for being convicted of fraud in 2022 due to false claims about revolutionary blood testing capabilities.

The documentary, titled “You Can See Everything,” was collaboratively created by Fielder and filmmaker Lance Oppenheim, shedding light on the events leading up to Holmes’s imprisonment in 2023. Oppenheim, known for his works such as “Spermworld” (2024) and “Some Kind of Heaven” (2020), brings a unique perspective to the project.

Fielder rose to prominence through his show “Nathan For You,” where he humorously dispensed misguided business advice. His previous stints on CBC’s “This Hour Has 22 Minutes” garnered him a loyal following in Canada. “You Can See Everything” is being distributed by the popular Gen Z-oriented company A24, known for its distinctive visual style and eerie atmospheres.

The trailer for the documentary features an intense one-minute exchange between Fielder and Holmes, capturing a moment of tension and disbelief. The teaser was unveiled at a surprise screening during the Telluride Film Festival in Colorado, generating enthusiastic responses from critics and attendees.

Director Daniel Howat praised the documentary as “hysterical, shocking, and insane,” while music producer Erik Nordgren deemed it the best film of the year. The buzz surrounding “You Can See Everything” draws parallels to Fielder’s past confrontational interviews, adding to the anticipation for its theatrical release next month.
