“Superfan Ejected from Australian Open for Excessive Noise”

A tennis enthusiast known for passionately supporting Emma Raducanu at the Australian Open was ejected from the tournament for excessive noise. James Bray gained attention when Raducanu acknowledged him after her match. Despite his newfound fame, Bray’s loud cheering during another match led to his removal from the venue by security officers. He documented the incident on social media, receiving a 24-hour ban and a fine. Despite the situation, Bray found humor in the experience, describing it as “fun.” Tennis Australia confirmed Bray had received warnings before his removal for disruptive behavior. Victoria Police also mentioned other ejections from the event but praised overall crowd behavior at the tournament.
