“Reddit Faces Worldwide Outage, Users Express Frustration”

Reddit experienced a global outage this evening, affecting users worldwide, including those in the US and UK. The website and app faced connectivity issues as reported on DownDetector, showing a significant increase in problem reports earlier in the evening.

Social media users expressed frustration over the outage, with one person lamenting, “#Reddit is down again!” Reddit had previously acknowledged an issue on January 18, where users encountered errors related to posting and viewing content with images or videos. The company swiftly addressed the issue and confirmed that it had been resolved.

Prior to this incident, Reddit had also dealt with issues involving posting images and account sign-ups, which were successfully resolved. Thousands of users reported problems with Reddit, with over 1,000 users indicating issues with the app on DownDetector since 9:27 pm.

The widespread reports of problems on Reddit were reflected globally, with users from various countries, including the UK and US, highlighting issues on DownDetector.
