Set to star in the upcoming film “Prima” alongside Academy Award-winner Faye Dunaway, Nicola has undergone four months of rigorous ballet training, resulting in a weight loss to below 100lbs (45kg).
Speculation arose among fans about the reason behind her slimmed-down figure, with some attributing it to weight loss injections or tensions with her husband Brooklyn Beckham’s family. Reports of discord surfaced last year after the couple appeared to skip several family gatherings.
A source disclosed to The Sun that Nicola’s weight loss journey was driven by her commitment to portraying the role flawlessly, showcasing her unwavering determination and hard work. The source emphasized that she opted for natural means and eschewed any shortcuts like weight loss injections.
In the movie, Faye Dunaway portrays Nicola’s character’s grandmother, a mentor who guides Margot (played by Nicola) on her path to becoming a talented ballerina. Nicola’s weight loss coincides with her and Brooklyn’s decision to distance themselves from his parents, David and Victoria Beckham, and his siblings.
Brooklyn reportedly sent a legal notice to his parents, instructing them to refrain from direct contact and social media interactions, urging all communications to go through their legal representatives instead.
Allegedly, Brooklyn’s stance of “talk to my lawyers” could explain his decision to block his family on social media, causing them to miss out on viewing or commenting on his posts during the festive season.
The Beckhams were said to have received the legal notice toward the end of the previous summer, following persistent rumors regarding their relationship with Brooklyn and Nicola.
