“Blooming Beauty: Exploring Canada’s Stunning Gardens”

As the temperatures rise, many are considering summer getaways, including visits to public gardens across Canada. These green spaces offer a unique opportunity to relax, explore native plants, sustainable horticulture, and the importance of pollinators.

Let’s delve into some of Canada’s most beautiful and expansive garden experiences. Starting in British Columbia, the renowned Butchart Gardens in Brentwood Bay on Vancouver Island attract over a million visitors annually. This over 120-year-old garden features vibrant blooms spread across 22 hectares, with the Sunken Garden being a highlight.

Moving to Victoria, The Gardens at Horticulture Centre of the Pacific offer themed spaces like the largest outdoor bonsai garden in Canada and a children’s garden with educational experiences. In Vancouver, the UBC Botanical Garden, established in 1916, boasts various gardens including a meadow and woodland garden, along with the popular Greenheart TreeWalk.
