Virgin Media has exciting news for its customers who are looking for new content on their TV screens. The telecoms company is introducing two new channels, British Screen Classics (Ch 450) and wedotv movies (Ch 451), at no extra cost. These channels will offer round-the-clock programming and are part of Virgin’s growing selection of free advert-supported services.
David Bouchier, Chief TV and Entertainment Officer at Virgin Media O2, highlighted the enhanced value and increased choice for subscribers. The addition of these streaming movie channels complements the existing offerings, providing customers with more options and access to a variety of movies at any time.
British Screen Classics (Ch450) will showcase a collection of classic films and TV shows from ITV STUDIOS and STUDIO CANAL, featuring iconic titles like This Sporting Life, Doctor in the House, and Clockwise. The channel aims to celebrate Britain’s cinematic heritage by presenting content across different genres such as comedy, horror, war, adventure, drama, and romance.
On the other hand, wedotv movies (Ch451) is a modern film channel with over 500 movies spanning various genres. Viewers can enjoy themed programming like Romance Mondays and Sci-fi Wednesdays, along with special events tied to holidays like Halloween and Christmas.
Virgin TV customers can expect the new channels to be automatically added to their set-top boxes without the need for manual intervention. This update offers a seamless experience for users to explore the diverse content now available to them.
