Looking for a new viewing option without the high costs of premium platforms like Netflix, Prime Video, or Disney+? Tubi, a free streaming service, recently expanded its content library, providing over 40,000 movies and shows for viewers in the UK.
The platform has added content from major studios such as AMC Networks, Lionsgate, and Sony Pictures Entertainment. Users can now enjoy a wide range of titles, including Ghostbusters (2016), District 9, Elysium, I Know What You Did Last Summer (1997), Resident Evil series, The Mist, The Devil You Know, Remember Me, and Redemption (2013), with more to come.
Ross Appleton, General Manager, UK at Tubi, stated, “Tubi has doubled its library size in the UK since its launch, offering the largest collection of free movies and TV series. In a landscape of rising streaming costs and fragmentation, Tubi aims to provide viewers with extensive content choices and personalized viewing experiences, all at no cost.”
The Tubi app is available on various devices, including Fire TV Sticks, Apple TV, smart TVs, and smartphones. Users can also access the service via the web browser, featuring a comprehensive search function to tailor content recommendations based on individual preferences.
While Tubi may not offer the latest blockbusters, it provides a diverse selection of free content for viewers to enjoy.
