Jamie Lee Arrow’s adolescence was marked by a disturbing past. When she was just nine years old, she discovered that her father had killed and consumed his girlfriend.
Her father, Isakin Drabbad, separated from Jamie’s mother when she was a toddler. Despite this, Jamie maintained a relationship with him and grew close to his new partner, Helle Christensen, who played a maternal role in her life.
However, Helle and Isakin’s relationship was fraught with toxicity and violence, with Jamie witnessing unsettling arguments between them from a young age. In a chilling incident, Helle served Jamie a meal and ominously declared, “Enjoy your meal… this is the last time I’ll ever cook for you, because Isakin is going to kill me.”
Tragically, Helle’s prophecy came true. In November 2010, Drabbad, who identified as a Satanist, murdered Helle by slashing her throat, decapitating her, and consuming parts of her body.
In a recent emotional interview with LadBible, Jamie recounted how her mother shielded her from the gruesome reality of her father’s actions, stating: “My life as I knew it didn’t exist anymore.”
She detailed the restrictions imposed on her by her family, including being isolated from media and social interactions, to protect her from the public scrutiny surrounding her father’s heinous crime.
Despite Drabbad’s conviction and confinement to a secure mental facility, his notoriety persisted. During his stay at Karsudden Regional Hospital, he formed a relationship with another patient known as the “Vampire killer,” Michelle Gustafsson.
Drabbad also engaged with the public through a blog where he discussed his crimes. In one post, he callously remarked on the act of taking a life, dismissing it as insignificant once done.
In a disturbing video uploaded to YouTube, Drabbad expressed his disdain for humanity, labeling himself as anti-human and aligning with historical figures like Vikings and Spartans.
Moreover, he created an online store selling voodoo dolls made with his blood, signed as “They call me Skara Cannibal.” Jamie revealed that her father gave her one of these dolls, claiming it could harm those who bullied her due to his infamous background.
The repercussions of her father’s actions haunted Jamie throughout her teenage years, leading to substance abuse and a tumultuous lifestyle. She emphasized the detrimental impact of her father’s influence on her choices and behavior.
Ultimately, Jamie’s priority now is shielding her own children from the darkness she endured in her upbringing. She is determined to provide them with a safe and nurturing environment, free from the shadows of her past.
