“Students Score Freebies on A-level Results Day”

Thousands of students are set to receive their A-level results today, with a range of freebies up for grabs regardless of the outcome. To claim these offers, students typically need to present their results paper and student ID, with most deals applicable for dine-in or takeaway orders only, excluding third-party delivery services. It’s advisable to confirm with individual restaurants if they are still honoring A-level results promotions before placing an order.

A-level and AS results have been released for students in England, Wales, and Northern Ireland on August 14, while GCSE results are scheduled for August 21. Last year saw an increase in the percentage of UK A-level entries awarded A or A* grades, with Scotland operating under a separate qualification system and having released results earlier.

In addition to A-level results, thousands of pupils will also receive vocational technical qualification (VTQ) results this month, with Level 3 VTQ results like BTecs being made available by or on August 14, and Level 2 VTQ results expected by August 21.

Several eateries are offering special deals for students on A-level results day, including Nando’s, Frankie & Benny’s, Las Iguanas, Bella Italia, Bill’s, Bird & Blend, Proper Burger, Côte Brasserie, Pizza Express, and Zizzi. These deals range from free chicken or starters to complimentary desserts and vouchers, providing students with a variety of options to celebrate their results.
