Sky is offering a limited-time free upgrade to some of its customers, providing access to 35 additional channels at no extra cost. The promotion, available until October 16, allows Essential TV package subscribers to enjoy the enhanced content of the Sky Ultimate TV package without any added expenses.
Included in the upgrade are premium channels like Sky Max, Sky Crime, Sky Documentaries, U&Gold, and Comedy Central. Sky announced this offer via email to Mirror Online, detailing the added benefits of the temporary upgrade.
Customers subscribed to the Essential TV bundle will automatically receive the upgrade without any action required. If they find the new channels appealing, they can choose to continue with the Sky Ultimate TV package for just an extra £3 per month.
In a similar move, Virgin Media is also providing free access to various channels such as Sky Kids, Cartoon Network, and Baby TV throughout October. This offer includes popular shows like Pip and Posy’s Spooktacular Party, The Wonderfully Weird World of Gumball, SpongeBob SquarePants, and Peppa Pig, aiming to enhance entertainment options for households during the October half-term.
