Samsung has officially announced that the upcoming Galaxy S series smartphones will be revealed at the Galaxy Unpacked event later this month. The event, scheduled for February 25 in San Francisco, will showcase the new Samsung Galaxy S26 lineup, which includes the standard S26, S26 Plus, and S26 Ultra models. Those interested can watch the event live on the Samsung website starting at 6 pm GMT.
Samsung is offering various incentives to fans who pre-register for the event. By signing up, participants can receive a £30 voucher for Galaxy ecosystem products, double storage when pre-ordering a new phone, and a chance to win one of 10 £500 Samsung vouchers.
The tech company emphasized that the new smartphones are designed to simplify daily tasks with integrated Artificial Intelligence (AI) features. Samsung described the Galaxy S series as a step forward in the era of AI, aiming to enhance user experiences and seamlessly integrate AI into everyday interactions.
Ahead of the launch, retailers are discounting the current Samsung Galaxy S25 models to make room for the new releases. For example, Sky Mobile has reduced the monthly cost of the S25 Ultra from £43 to £31, saving customers £432 over the contract period. However, this deal requires a 36-month commitment and comes with a 100MB data allowance, which may require additional data purchases.
Amazon is also offering discounts on the Samsung Galaxy S25 and S25 Ultra models, with prices reduced by 20% for outright purchases. Select models are now available at £639.20 and £999.20, respectively, with savings of almost £250. This offer is valid until February 24 or while stocks last.
The Samsung Galaxy Unpacked event will be streamed live on Samsung.com on February 25 at 6 pm. Fans can register their interest for the event on the Samsung website.
