“Ruth Langsford upset over Eamonn Holmes’ neglect of son during holidays”

Ruth Langsford reportedly expressed anger towards her estranged spouse, Eamonn Holmes, for not contacting their son Jack during the Christmas season. Sources revealed that Eamonn also distanced himself from his older children, Niall and Rebecca, from his previous marriage with Gabrielle, causing tension over the holidays.

Insiders suggest that the Loose Women star remains unforgiving of her ex-husband’s actions as their divorce proceedings continue. The couple announced their separation in 2024 after Ruth discovered messages from Eamonn to another woman.

A source disclosed to Bella magazine that Ruth was livid over Eamonn’s failure to extend an olive branch to Jack during Christmas and New Year’s, emphasizing that a simple gesture of goodwill could have made a difference in their strained relationship.

Following their split, Eamonn was linked to counselor Katie Alexander, who is significantly younger. Reports surfaced that Niall, Eamonn’s son from his first marriage, sided with Ruth after a heated argument between father and son at a social event.

According to The Sun, the rift between Eamonn and Niall deepened post-divorce, with hurtful words exchanged between them. Additionally, sources claimed that Eamonn’s children felt embarrassed by his behavior and the pressure of choosing sides.

Eamonn allegedly made a pointed remark about Ruth during a recent engagement party, describing Katie as his “soulmate” and alluding to testing times revealing true loyalties. This comment reportedly did not sit well with Eamonn’s children, who viewed it as a slight against their mother.

It was noted that Eamonn often relies on a wheelchair due to chronic health issues following hip and spinal surgeries. The Mirror sought comments from Eamonn’s representative in relation to the story.
