Jesse Wood, a 49-year-old musician and son of music icon Ronnie Wood, revealed in court that he is struggling financially, living off savings of around £1,000 and facing difficulties finding employment since his separation from Fearne Cotton. The court appearance stemmed from a speeding violation where he was caught driving at 27mph in a 20mph zone in West London last April.
During the court proceedings, Jesse expressed his challenges in securing work, mentioning a delayed employment opportunity slated for 2024. Despite his apology for the speeding offense, it was noted that this incident marked the fourth time he had been caught for similar violations within a year.
As a result of the speeding infraction, Jesse received a six-month driving ban and was issued additional penalty points, leading to a fine and costs totaling £255. Magistrate Richard Sanden reduced the penalty to £89 due to Jesse’s guilty plea, with additional surcharges and court costs to be paid.
Jesse, who shares children with Fearne Cotton, has since moved on romantically and is now dating Gemma Gregory. Their relationship became public in April 2025, following Jesse’s split from Fearne in December 2024. Fearne, on the other hand, is currently in a relationship with Elliot Hegarty, as announced in a statement on her Instagram Stories, where she highlighted her focus on their children and requested privacy during the separation.
