A luxury yacht worth $1 million sank off the coast of Turkey only 15 minutes into its first voyage, prompting passengers and crew to jump into the water. The vessel, named Dolce Vento, meaning “Sweet Wind” in Italian, was seen gliding into the sea near Zonguldak in northern Turkey before tilting and disappearing underwater. This was the yacht’s inaugural trip after being delivered to its owner from Istanbul.
The owner, skipper, and two crew members were seen diving overboard and swimming to safety. Authorities established a security perimeter around the sinking yacht.
