During the podcast conversation with her sister Sophie Price, Katie mentioned, “Our relationship with JJ wasn’t right for months, but he’s a great guy. I have no complaints about him at all. There were no ultimatums; the speculations about marriage and having a baby were baseless. I care for him, but I’m not romantically involved, so continuing the relationship seemed pointless.”
She further expressed, “The family adores him, but for me, it felt more like being with a best friend. In a relationship, you seek fulfillment, and that was lacking for me. We separated a few months back, and despite sharing my feelings, there was no positive change.”
Katie clarified, “There are no hard feelings or animosity. That’s it.” Her sister Sophie added, “I really like JJ, but I know…” Katie interjected, “I do too, but I’m older now, and I don’t want to waste his time or mine. Staying in an unfulfilling relationship leads to bitterness, which I want to avoid. It’s better to end it sooner rather than later.”
Regarding JJ’s presence at Christmas, Katie explained that it was pre-planned due to family commitments, but the relationship had ended long before. She expressed contentment with her decision, emphasizing the importance of addressing issues promptly.
