In her statement, Katie clarified, “I’ve noticed the circulating article about the external mess at my new place, and it’s truly disheartening to witness the story being skewed without the full context.” She elaborated, explaining that post-Christmas remnants, such as bags and leftover packaging awaiting collection, had contributed to the temporary clutter, a common occurrence for many households. Assuring that the area has since been tidied up, Katie refuted any insinuation that she neglects her home’s cleanliness.
Furthermore, she voiced her disapproval of the narrative being spun based on the images, accompanying her message with Sabrina Carpenter’s song “Hose Tour.” Earlier in the day, amidst reports of her split from JJ Slater, Katie hinted at a fresh start. Through a series of social media posts featuring cryptic quotes on her relationship status, she hinted at a desire for change.
