Donald Trump has not yet been successful in receiving a Nobel Peace Prize, but FIFA has acknowledged his ability to influence parties to cease hostilities to avoid tariff threats. The FIFA organization, known for football governance, has introduced a peace prize to honor Trump’s efforts. This move parallels the creation of the “Global Success” award by the British in 2013 to recognize One Direction, albeit on a larger scale of corruption.
Trump is set to receive this “award” during the World Cup draw happening at the Kennedy Centre in Washington DC today.
At a glittering event at the Kennedy Centre, Trump was presented with a grand gold trophy symbolizing the inaugural FIFA Peace Prize. Accompanied by performances by Robbie Williams and Nicole Scherzinger, the ceremony saw the trophy, resembling the World Cup trophy but with a unique design, handed to Trump by FIFA leader Gianni Infantino. Infantino commended Trump for his actions, stating that he truly deserves the first FIFA peace prize. Trump was also honored with a medal, which he proudly wore throughout the ceremony.
During the event, Infantino mentioned that the peace prize would become an “annual” award, eliciting amusement from the audience.
In another development, Trump sparked controversy by suggesting a name change for American Football due to conflicts with soccer. He emphasized the need for a distinct name for the NFL to avoid confusion.
Trump expressed gratitude for receiving the fabricated prize, calling it a significant honor. He highlighted his administration’s efforts in averting conflicts and fostering relationships with countries like Canada and Mexico.
Trump and Gianni Infantino share a close relationship, with Infantino often praised for his flattery towards Trump. Their camaraderie was evident during the ceremony, with past instances showcasing Infantino’s admiration for Trump.
Elsewhere, the Homeland Security secretary disclosed plans to expand the travel ban from 19 to over 30 countries, citing the need for stable governments and security vetting procedures.
During a speech at the White House Christmas tree lighting, Trump referenced past achievements, including purportedly ending conflicts and fostering peace agreements. However, some of these claims have faced scrutiny for accuracy and impact.
Despite the controversies, Trump remains optimistic about his administration’s achievements and future endeavors.
