Dell has announced the revival of its XPS brand, a year after discontinuing it, following criticism from tech experts and customers. The new XPS laptops, redesigned from scratch, boast a sleek design with premium materials like aluminum and Gorilla Glass 3. The laptops feature a revamped keyboard for improved stability and a seamless glass touchpad integrated into the palm rest.
These new models, the XPS 14 and XPS 16, are the thinnest laptops Dell has ever produced, measuring just 14.6mm, thanks in part to a slim 4K webcam. Powered by Intel’s latest Ultra processors, the laptops promise enhanced performance, graphics, and efficiency. The thermal system has been redesigned to maintain optimal temperatures even during heavy usage.
Intel Arc graphics with 12 cores offer a 50% performance boost compared to previous generations. The XPS laptops also deliver exceptional battery life with high-density cells providing up to 27 hours of usage on a single charge. Additional features include edge-to-edge touch displays, Dolby Atmos speakers, and a variety of ports for connectivity.
The launch of the new XPS 14 and XPS 16 was announced at CES 2026, with Dell emphasizing the premium design, powerful performance, stunning displays, and long-lasting battery life of these compact devices.
