Rylan Clark’s mother has sustained a “fractured shoulder” following a fall outside her residence in Essex. Linda Clark, who has previously appeared on Celebrity Gogglebox with her son, revealed that the incident occurred when she mistakenly stepped on ice, thinking it was water while disposing of her garbage.
During a live conversation on Rylan’s BBC Radio 2 show, Linda, 72, shared with listeners that she had taken a tumble and injured her arm once again. After confirming the shoulder fracture, she described her arm as being covered in bruises and extremely painful.
Recounting the moment he received news of the accident, Rylan mentioned how he was informed by Linda about her hospital visit that morning. Despite the injury, he expressed relief that it wasn’t as severe as previous incidents involving both her arm and leg.
Rylan emphasized the importance of caution and rest to his mother, urging her not to worsen the situation. Despite his advice, Linda humorously mentioned that she couldn’t stay idle and had even managed to do some laundry, much to her son’s chagrin.
After fulfilling his mother’s song request, Rylan expressed gratitude to listeners for their supportive messages. He reassured them that Linda is recuperating well under proper care after the accident.
This recent mishap is not the first time Linda has faced health issues. In a previous incident, she was charged for flip flops after falling down an escalator in a store, causing her shoes to be soaked in blood. Rylan expressed frustration over the incident, emphasizing the need for compassion towards his mother, who had faced a similar ordeal during a holiday in Spain in 2023.
During her hospitalization following the holiday accident, Rylan took time off from work to aid in her recovery process. Two months later, he shared a photo of Linda visiting his home in Essex for the first time since the incident, marking the occasion with a birthday celebration.
