“Apple Services Soar: Record-Breaking Year in 2025”

Apple has seen a surge in the popularity of its services alongside its well-known products like MacBook laptops, iPads, and iPhones. The tech giant reported a ‘record-breaking’ year with a growing number of users on its music streaming, TV streaming, and news platforms.

In 2025, Apple Music witnessed its best year to date, attracting a record number of listeners and new subscribers. The service introduced new features like Lyrics Translation and AutoMix to enhance the user experience.

Apple TV’s engagement levels have also soared, with users spending 36% more time watching shows like Slow Horses and The Studio compared to the previous year. The platform expanded its content library with new shows and movies, including an F1 film starring Brad Pitt and the highly-rated drama Pluribus.

The App Store maintained a strong presence with an average of over 850 million weekly users worldwide. During the holiday season, the platform experienced a surge in visitor numbers and record customer spending on digital goods and services.

Apple Podcasts also had a successful year, attracting record listeners, plays, and subscribers. Other updates across Apple’s services included the expansion of Apple Fitness+ to more regions and the addition of over 50 new games to Apple Arcade.

Furthermore, Apple enhanced its Share Item Location feature in Find My to 27 additional airlines, reducing lost luggage instances significantly. Apple Maps expanded its Detailed City Experience to new locations like New Orleans, Singapore, and Monaco, offering 3D landmark views, including a custom F1 Monaco Grand Prix experience.

Eddy Cue, Apple’s senior vice president of Services, commented on the achievements, stating that 2025 was a remarkable year of growth and innovation for Apple services. He highlighted the company’s commitment to enhancing user experiences globally through services like Apple TV, Apple Music, and Apple News, as well as essential features like Apple Pay and iCloud. Cue emphasized the enthusiasm of customers for Apple’s offerings, whether it be downloading new apps, watching shows, listening to music, or shopping securely.
