Apple has rolled out a significant iOS update globally, bringing new features and bug fixes to iPhone users. To access the latest iOS 18.5 update, users can navigate to Settings, then General, and select Software Update.
The update introduces new wallpapers for the homescreen and enhances parental controls by sending alerts when the Screen Time password is used on a child’s device. Additionally, the Buy with iPhone feature is now available for purchasing content within the Apple TV app on third-party devices.
iPhone 13 users can now send texts via satellites, enhancing connectivity in remote areas with limited data signals. iOS 18.5 also improves device security, addresses bugs, and includes various enhancements. Noteworthy features of the update include a new Pride Harmony wallpaper, parental notifications for Screen Time passcode usage, and support for satellite features on all iPhone 13 models.
Users are advised to download the 1.5GB update over Wi-Fi due to its size, and the installation process will require a device restart. It is recommended not to initiate the update if expecting urgent calls or messages.
