“Apple iPhone 17 Deals: Free AirPods & Trade-In Offers Revealed”

After a surge in pre-orders, the latest range of Apple iPhones, including the iPhone 17, iPhone 17 Air, iPhone 17 Pro, and iPhone 17 Pro Max, are now up for purchase in the UK. For those considering an upgrade, understanding the benefits of the various deals is crucial before making a decision. To assist in this process, we have compiled a list of available offers.

Curated by our team of expert tech enthusiasts who cover a wide range of product launches from Apple to Samsung’s Galaxy S25 and the latest Google Pixel 10 release, there are numerous choices to explore. Major retailers such as giffgaff, Sky, EE, Three, Vodafone, and Mobiles.co.uk have unveiled their cost-effective packages.

Among the offerings, mobiles.co.uk stands out for customers interested in receiving complimentary AirPods alongside their iPhone 17 purchase. Additionally, Sky is providing the latest AirPods Pro3 for an additional £7 per month to customers who buy one of the new iPhone 17 models.

For budget-conscious buyers, giffgaff offers the 256GB iPhone 17 Pro for £47.06 per month, which is notably lower than Sky’s £54 monthly rate for the same model. Furthermore, trade-in options are available, where customers can significantly reduce the price by trading in their older devices when making a purchase.

Various network providers like Vodafone, Three, and O2 are also offering competitive prices, albeit with fluctuations. We have compiled a list of the top deals spotted for those interested in acquiring Apple’s latest flagship devices.

Giffgaff is currently accepting orders for the Apple iPhone 17, featuring standout deals like the iPhone 17 256GB with an unlimited plan priced at £38.17 per month.

Mobiles.co.uk, known for its affordable contracts and frequent freebie offers, is now bundling free Apple AirPods 4 with orders of the iPhone 17, iPhone 17 Pro, and iPhone 17 Pro Max.

While the eligible contract prices may be slightly higher compared to other retailers, customers are rewarded with a generous 100GB data allowance, unlimited calls, and texts. Each plan includes a complimentary set of AirPods delivered along with the handset.

Although an end date for the promotion is yet to be confirmed, one drawback is that stock availability will commence from October, with specific shipping dates varying by model. Below are some contract options eligible for the free Apple AirPods 4:

Tech enthusiasts can secure a pair of Apple AirPods 4 for free with pre-orders of the iPhone 17, iPhone 17 Pro, and iPhone 17 Pro Max. Please note that this offer includes the standard pair and not the model with Active Noise Cancelling (ANC).

Vodafone’s lucrative trade-in deal, initially available during the pre-order phase, has now been extended to the ‘buy now’ offers. Customers can save a substantial amount, up to £552, by trading in older devices, such as the iPhone 16 Pro Max.

The trade-in value varies based on the model being exchanged. Customers who trade in an older iPhone 15 Plus can save up to £325. Additionally, buyers have the option to spread the cost using 0% APR Phone Plans for up to 36 months if they prefer not to pay upfront.

Among the network providers, Vodafone and Three Mobile both offer discounts up to £552, while O2 provides a lower trade-in offer of ‘up to £100 off’ for those participating in the trade-in program.

Sky Mobile is presenting the iPhone 17 starting from £25 per month, with no upfront costs. Customers can select from various data plans ranging from £1 monthly for 1GB to £20 monthly for 50GB. Additional data charges are applicable on top of the contract price, and the most attractive plan spotted is £19 per month for unlimited data.

The AirPods Pro 3 offer from Sky Mobile, priced at £7 per month, is available to customers purchasing the iPhone 17 or any other new iPhone model. This deal can be accessed on the Sky Mobile website following the selection of an iPhone model, exclusively for device buyers.

All mobile contract plans include unlimited calls and texts, with any unused data rolling over for future use. Sky Mobile assures customers the flexibility to switch to a new phone after 31 days or upgrade after 24 months at no extra cost.

Another enticing deal is a Vodafone data contract priced at £59 per month on a 24-month term with a £25 upfront fee. This package offers a substantial data allowance, ensuring iPhone users have seamless internet access on the go. Vodafone also offers additional perks such as Vodafone Rewards, providing freebies like Costa coffee, and a data booster feature for unlimited data access for 30 days—a handy feature for travel enthusiasts.
