A company specializing in the sale of combined flight and hotel vacation packages has declared bankruptcy, resulting in the cancellation of all existing bookings. Regen Central Ltd, a travel agency established in Hertfordshire in 2011, ceased operations on January 13, as per official records from Companies House.
The travel firm offered holiday packages and flight deals to various destinations in Europe and Southeast Asia under multiple brand names such as One Haji & Umrah, Regen Travels, and Oneworld Travels.
According to a statement on the Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) website, the company, which held an Air Travel Organisers’ Licence (ATOL), stopped trading last week. ATOL, a UK program managed by the CAA, safeguards package holiday consumers by providing financial protection, ensuring refunds or repatriation in case of company insolvency.
Unfortunately, bookings for accommodations only and non-flight packages do not fall under ATOL protection and are not eligible for the same refund security. The CAA clarified that there were no outstanding ATOL-covered bookings by the company, implying that refunds will not be issued.
If individuals believe they are entitled to a refund for an ATOL-covered booking under Regen Central Ltd.’s ATOL, they are advised to contact the CAA via email at claims@caa.co.uk.
Recent customer reviews on Google highly recommend One Hajj & Umrah and Oneworld Travels for their exceptional service and professional staff. Positive feedback includes praise for excellent communication, assistance throughout the booking process, and top-notch accommodations and flights.
Notably, several other UK-based travel companies, including Ickenham Travel Group Ltd, Great Little Escapes LLP, and Jetline Travel Ltd, have closed down in the past year, as reported on the CAA website.
