BTS Unveils Extensive World Tour Schedule for 2026-2027
K-pop superstars BTS have thrilled fans with the announcement of their upcoming world tour spanning various continents. The highly anticipated tour, set for 2026-2027, will see the group perform in Asia, North America, Europe, Latin America, and Australia, making it one of their most expansive tours to date.
The tour will kick off with three shows in Goyang, South Korea, on April 9, followed by performances on April 11-12 before moving on to Tokyo, Japan. Tickets for ARMY Membership holders will be available for purchase on January 22-23 (Local Time), with general ticket sales starting on January 24 (Local Time) across all regions. After a hiatus of nearly four years, BTS is making their official return following the completion of all members’ mandatory military service in South Korea in June 2025. The group’s highly awaited comeback is scheduled for March 20, 2026, with the release of their fifth full-length studio album.
BigHit Music confirmed that the album will be released on March 20, 2026, at 1 p.m. KST (midnight ET). The announcement generated immense excitement among fans, causing the Weverse platform to experience temporary crashes due to the overwhelming response from the ARMY fanbase.
This album will mark BTS’s first proper studio release since February 2020’s Map of the Soul: 7 after a six-year gap. While the group previously released the anthology album Proof in June 2022, it featured past hits rather than new music.
