“December 10 Boyband Announces Debut Live Tour”

A new boyband named December 10, hailed as the potential successors to One Direction, has disclosed their inaugural live performances. The group, showcased in the Netflix series “Simon Cowell: The Next Act,” will be hitting the stage in February across Glasgow, Manchester, Birmingham, London, and Dublin. Expressing their enthusiasm for the upcoming mini-tour, the band members, who recently signed with EMI/Universal Music, conveyed their excitement to perform live together for the first time.

Although fans must wait for their debut single, December 10 has already released a cover of NSYNC’s “Bye Bye Bye” on YouTube, garnering over 1 million views within weeks. Despite this being their first live gig as a collective, the seven members bring individual experience to the table. Notably, Nicolas, 16, represented Portugal at Junior Eurovision, while Sean, 19, showcased his talent with the Irish National Opera in Dublin.

Furthermore, Cruz, 19, has graced London’s West End in “Motown: The Musical” as a young Michael Jackson, and Danny, 17, made an appearance on The Voice Kids in 2023. John, 17, opted to join Cowell’s project over a role in “Paddington: The Musical,” while Hendrick, 19, and Josh, 17, have built a significant online following through cover songs and original music.

Simon Cowell, renowned for his success with One Direction, scouted talents across the UK to form the next big boyband, eventually christened December 10 after the documentary’s release date. Singer-songwriter Kamille, part of the judging panel, emphasized the exceptional talent discovered during the auditions, expressing confidence in the band’s potential to achieve great success akin to One Direction.

Kamille, viewing herself as the band’s protective figure, stressed the importance of mental well-being and kindness in the entertainment industry. With the oldest member being only 19, she has taken on the role of a mentor, ensuring the band remains grounded amidst the allure of fame. Anticipating a bright future for December 10, she praised their performance skills and camaraderie, likening them to energetic puppies in a garden.
