“Morrisons Offers Free Wonky Carrots for Rudolph”

Morrisons is offering more than 27 tonnes of carrots for customers to give to Rudolph and his companions.

Customers can receive a complimentary carrot from the “Naturally Wonky” selection from December 20 until Christmas Eve, while supplies last. These carrots may have slightly unique shapes or sizes.

Chris Smith, Senior Trader of Root Vegetables at Morrisons, stated: “Christmas is a time for spreading happiness and cheer, so we are pleased to provide our young customers with a free wonky carrot to leave out for Rudolph and friends on Christmas Eve.

“Our Naturally Wonky range supports local farmers, minimizes waste, and offers customers an affordable option that still tastes excellent.”

This initiative coincides with several major UK supermarkets reducing the prices of Christmas vegetables to just 5p, including potatoes, carrots, parsnips, cabbage, and Brussels sprouts.
